• Minutes of the Fall 2006 board meeting
• March 31 , 2007 Treasurer's Report
• Change to policies to include dues schedule
• Review of 2006-2007 Goals
• Review and confirm expectations of board members [Spring 2006 handout.]
• Discussion of participation in the NC Conference for Women.
• Discussion of public policy grant opportunity
• Discussion of changes to convention schedule and benefit of spending more to pay speakers. [See events team report and summary of survey of branch presidents.]
• Discussion of future efforts
  • SMART goals
  • New initiatives?
    • Proposal for a Diversity Task Force
    • Advocacy efforts - intern, "lobby corps"?
    • Communications - public relations, backup for newsletter and web
    • Membership (includes nominating & c/u; 07-08 nominating committee?)
    • Events - expand to program/project support?
  • Do we need to hire expertise here?
• Approval of 2007-2008 provisional budget (Provisional budget will look much like the 2006-2007 budget with changes from the above discussion. Final will depend on post-convention treasurer's report.)
• Discussion of proposed bylaws changes for AAUW NC to prepare the board members for the Saturday business session.
