Introduction
The AAUW NC ReConnection process that started at the summer board meeting of
July 2002, has made progress in several areas. For background information, see
the Overview discussion.
Reports on the goals for Fall 2003

Provide more face-to-face contact between AAUW NC board members and branch
members. Pat Abell (Statesville), Marty Folsom (Statesville), Bobbie Edmisten
(Statesville). Progress has been made implementing the "ambassador"
program. Report

Reevaluate the structure of AAUW NC to support changes that improve the
capacity to address the mission. Karla Atkinson (Brevard), Mary Fran Schickedantz
(Greensboro), Sandra Abromitis (Asheville). Made a motion to expand this committee
and proposed an 18 month timeline to consider more widely the structural changes
that the original ReConnection Committee discussed. Motion
passed at the board meeting.
