The AAUW Legal Advocacy Fund provides funding and a support system for women seeking judicial redress for sex discrimination. LAF is the largest US legal fund focused solely on sex discrimination in higher education. It also awards an annual Progress in Equity Award that honors a college or university program that has resulted in significant progress in equity for women.

LEGAL ADVOCACY FUND NETWORK ATTORNEY INFORMATION

The Legal Advocacy Fund has set up an attorney referral network. These attorney volunteers will provide free initial consultation. If you are a woman considering litigation regarding sex discrimination issues, but really aren’t sure you have a case to go forward, a Network attorney can answer your questions and advise you on your options.
