This will be at the hotel. Other meetings are at the church.

7:00 - 9:00 p.m., AAUW NC Board meeting.

All members are welcome. Branch public policy chairs are strongly encouraged to attend.

  1. Discussion/adoption of AAUW NC Public Policy Program
    Sept. 17 draft of Public Policy Program
  2. Discussion/approval of changes to the AAUW NC Policy Statement
    Sept. 29 posting on the new policy statement
  3. Details for Convention 2007 and brainstorming on possible changes to convention. [Brainstorming worksheet.]
  4. Membership matters. Ann Gustafson, Association MVP will be attending our convention. What should we ask of her? How are we doing across the state.

9:30 - 12:00 - Women's Agenda Assembly
This community meeting to discuss public policy issues apt to come before the 2007-2008 session of the NC legislature is open to the public. See www.ncwu.org for more about the Agenda Assembly process. In particular, it is suggested that you download and review the Draft Agenda (at least a couple of items that are of particular importance to you) to prepare for these discussions. See also

Time for the AAUW NC members in attendance to share ideas and information -- related to the Agenda Assembly of the morning, the 2007 convention, or other topics.

Registration fee: $15.
