It's Celebration Time!

Come to the Diamond Jubilee in observance of the 75th Anniversary of AAUW of North Carolina! All North Carolina members are invited to attend. Put on your best duds and head for Greensboro for this special anniversary convention!

We'll do honor to the occasion by having first-rate speakers: Our Leader-on-Loan is Association president, Nancy Rustad. We will also be joined by Patty McCabe, Director of the Legal Advocacy Fund.

The convention will begin with colors flying as we present the Parade of Branch banners. Special events at this convention include workshops, which will help us make a difference in our branches, our communities, and ourselves.

Be sure to bring items for the Silent Auction to benefit the Educational Foundation.

The commemoration of our 75th anniversary will continue with appropriate ceremony, festivity, and merry making. The AAUW NC History will be presented -- order your copy ( 60K) now (or order some when you use the Convention online registration -- see below).

Fun activities include a dinner theater Friday night. Watch for more details on other events! Free time will be available.

Make your hotel reservations (while the deadline for the convention rate was Feb. 13, there may still be rooms at that rate)
Complete the online registration form
- Note that you can pay with a check or a credit card if you register online
- If you choose to use a credit card, be sure to follow the directions carefully.
- You'll get a reminder to send the registration information to the committee if you try to leave the form without hitting the correct button. If you really have changed your mind and don't want to register at the moment (for instance, if there was a problem with your credit card that you want to ask about), simply hit the "Cancel" button on the reminder. If, however, your credit card information went through correctly be sure to hit the "OK" button on the reminder to complete your registration.
- You can print out, complete and fill in the form from the Tar Heel News (see above), but the online registration is simpler for the committee and has some options (such as dinner theater tickets and history book order) that didn't appear in the Tar Heel News.
