Change, Survive and Thrive

Dinner Theater - Friday night

The Greensboro Branch and the Convention Committee have arranged an opportunity to attend the musical Smoke on the Mountain at the Barn Dinner Theatre on Friday evening, March 15.

Smoke on the Mountain is a foot-stompin', banjo-pickin' bluegrass festival of joy. The story revolves around the Sanders family as they unite in song at the Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church. Come and experience hymns, hilarity, and homemade treats that will surely make a believer out of anyone. Are you wondering about the connection to the convention theme? Just plan to watch the reactions of Miss Maude and Miss Myrtle.

Dinner will be from 6:30-8:00 with the play starting at 8:00.

The cost is $35 -- please include that with your registration payment. Transportation will be provided from the hotel to the theater. Be sure to check with the registration desk by 5:00 for details.

Those on the AAUW NC board (including branch presidents, remember), note that this conflicts with the board meeting, so ask the others in your branch to give you a full report.
