Candidates for AAUW NC Office

The offices of secretary and membership vice president will be filled by election at the business meeting 1:15 - 3:15 on Saturday, April 1.

Barbara White, Raleigh/Wake County, is a candidate for membership vice-president. Karla Atkinson, Brevard, is a candidate for re-election as secretary. You can read more about Barbara and Karla in the spring issue of the Tar Heel News.

Nominating Committee

At the business session there will also be an election for the 2006-2007 nominating committee. The bylaws say that this shall be a committee of five, and the policies say that all shall have served as branch officers and no two shall come from the same branch. In practice, we try to have members from different clusters. If you wish to be considered for this committee, please let a delegate know so that your name can be placed in nomination.
