Branches are urged to share take inspiration from the materials -- and the pictures! -- and discuss the information at branch or board meetings.

After lunch two speakers presented information on election finance reform. Erin Byrd, Coalition Coordinator, NC Voters for Clean Elections (AAUW is a member of the Coalition) and Nina Moseley, Executive Directory Democracy South were the speakers.

Clara Allen urged all branches to ensure their public and college/university libraries and their branch archives have a copy of the AAUW NC History. Helen Martikainen distributed copies of the NC Coalition on Aging Legislative Agenda. Mary Jo Pribble reported that EF Community Action Grants and Career Development Grants will be suspended for one year due to lack of funds.
