Branch Connections

One of the documents used by the ReConnection Committee to start its review of the issues was the following characterization of branch connections to the AAUW NC organization.

  1. Branch is in good shape. Actively participates in state activities and the state board.
  2. Branch is in good shape. Has limited participation in state activities.
  3. Branch is functioning, but may be going downhill. May or may not welcome help from the state. May or may not have any capacity to help at the state level.
  4. Branch is depending on one or two people for its life. May not have a core left for the state to help.
  5. Branch has voted to disband.

With a somewhat arbitrary division of the branches into those classes -- the idea here is to see trends, not comment on particular branches -- we see:
