Theresa (Terry) ShankBachelor of Music, Oberlin College Conservatory; MA Education, East Carolina University. Theresa is a consultant/trainer in group dynamics and people skills. She is a retired Community College administrator and county commissioner. Theresa is the cofounder of Women's Network in Pitt County, past president of numerous community organizations, and president-elect of the Women's Forum of North Carolina. Paula WolfBA Psychology and speech; MA Social Sciences from Northeastern Illinois University. Doctoral studies and exams in higher education, University of Chicago. Paula is currently the chief lobbyist for the Covenant with North Carolina's Children, a multidisciplinary statewide coalition advancing public policy to benefit NC's children. In 2001 she was ranked 12th in a listing of the "48 Most Influential Lobbyists in the NC General Assembly." Paula is also a senior fellow at the NC Child Advocacy Institute. In this role, she provides expertise in public policy and media relations and coordinates the NCCAI Infonet, a system of 30 listservs on a variety of topics. Mimi CunninghamBS and MA, Journalism from USC, Columbia, SC. Mimi is the assistant vice-chancellor for university relations at UNC-Wilmington. She manages public relations, news, and publication efforts for a 9,700 student comprehensive Level I university. Her specialities are media relations for non-profits and public relations planning and crisis communication. She is a member of the Wilmington Branch of AAUW and past president of AAUW NC.
