Speakers have been asked to address the balance between public and private life, encouraging more women to serve in public life, unique paths to public service, and how women in public life have made a difference.

Directions

Community United Church of Christ, 814 Dixie Trail, Raleigh, NC 27607

From I-40 west of Raleigh, take exit 289 (Wade Avenue) and continue on the Wade Avenue extension to where Wade Avenue and I-440 intersect.

From Route 1 and 64 south west of Raleigh, continue straight onto I-440N (inner beltline, towards Wake Forest), take Exit 4 (Wade Avenue and RDU Airport) and turn right onto Wade Avenue.

Once on Wade Avenue, continue about a mile to Dixie Trail. Make a right at the light onto Dixie Trail and the first left into the church parking lot. You can also continue on Wade Avenue past the church and make a right into the second parking lot, but the meeting is in the church building near Dixie Trail.
