To the Church

Congregational United Church of Christ, 400 W. Radiance Dr., 27403

From West:

1. Take I-40E
2. Take the WENDOVER AVE EAST exit- Exit 214B
3. Merge onto W WENDOVER AVE.
4. Take the FRIENDLY AVE exit.
5. Come off and stay to the left and come to the light.
6. Turn right onto W. FRIENDLY AVE
7. Turn left onto E RADIANCE DR
8. You will see the church in front of you. Parking lot is tricky to get into. We will try to have arrows directing you unless Mary Fran or Linda can add to this.

From East:

1. Take I-40W
2. Take the ELM-EUGENE exit.
3. Merge right and continue on ELM-EUGENE ST which will become just EUGENE ST
4. Make a lleft onto E FRIENDLY AVE
5. Turn right onto E RADIANCE DR
6. You will see the church in front of you. Parking lot is tricky to get into. We will try to have arrows directing you unless Mary Fran or Linda can add to this.

To the Hotel

Battleground Inn, 1517 Westover Terrace, 27408

To go directly to hotel, stay on Friendly until you get to Friendly shopping Center. At Green Valley Drive turn right. Cross Benjamin Parkway and continue on to Westover Terrace. Turn left on Westover Terrace. The hotel is on your left.

From Hotel to Church

1. Make a right onto WESTOVER TERRACE
2. Take a right onto GREEN VALLEY RD
3. Turn left onto W FRIENDLY AVE
4. Turn Left onto E RADIANCE DR
5. Follow above directions

Alternate routes to avoid I-40 near Greensboro

From the west

Exit I-40 at Route 68 and come in Bryan Blvd/Benjamin Parkway (past airport). You stay on that until you get to Westover Terrace/Aycock. (This is the corner across from Grimsley High School). Turn right onto Aycock, go half a block and exit at the ramp that says Friendly Avenue. The church and parking lot are at the top of the ramp.

If you are going directly to hotel from Bryan Blvd/Benjamin Parkway, turn left at Green Valley Drive (turn lanes). Go to the 2nd traffic light (Westover Terrace) and turn left. Hotel is a block north on the left.

From the east

Exit I-40 at the exit after Mt Hope Church Road at the I-840 exit that says to Route 70. It only goes 1 or 2 miles and everyone has to exit. You will exit right at the end of the ramp onto Wendover Avenue. Stay on Wendover. Perk up as you get to Church St. (light), Cridland (light) Hill St (light). Before you get to Friendly Shopping Center and right after the Battleground Exit, take the next exit called Westover Terrace. At the top of the ramp turn right onto Westover Terrace. The second light will be Benjamin Parkway. Go through the light and exit on the ramp to Friendly Avenue and the Church.

To get to the hotel from Wendover turn at ramps for Westover Terrace. Turn left onto Westover Terrace at the top of the ramp if you are coming from the West. Turn left onto Westover Terrace at the top of the ramp if you are coming from the east. The hotel is one block beyond Green Valley Drive.
